| It doesn't matter if you are the owner of the Wendy's franchises, if you make fries, if you handle our accounting or if you take out the garbage, the qualities we look for in people are the same. |
 |
Qualities We're Looking For:
- Customer Focused: If you think that this will be a great job except for the customers, this ISN'T the job for you. At Wendy's, we are all about the customer. Whether it's having all hourly staff wearing hair nets or how we set up our menu boards, we think from the customer's prospective.
- Dependable: All of the staff at Wendy's count on you to show up when scheduled, ready to work. When staff aren't dependable, all staff members and our customers pay the price.
- Positive Attitude: You are the kind of person who sees the glass as half full. This includes everything from wearing a smile, please & thank you's to being brave enough to ask questions if you aren't sure what to do.
- Communicate, communicate, communicate. This is one of our key philisophies. When problems occur, it usually has to do with communication between you, your customers, your team or your managers. Communication means being:
- Willing to listen: This is soooo important - it means listening to your customers, your team and your managers. If you aren't willing to listen at Wendy's, you won't be successful.
- Willing to talk: It is important that you interact selectively with your customers and team. No, this doesn't mean chatting to other team members while you are serving customers. Think before you talk.
- Willing to share: If you have a question, idea, observation or problem, you're short changing everyone, especially yourself, if you don't share.
- Integrity: It's all about "Doing the right thing" any time, every time.
- Team players: At Inland Restaurants, "the team is important, the individual is expendable".
